Overview

A full rewrite of the service for rendering articles on BuzzFeed Dot Com the Website, built from the ground up to include best practices for page performance and accessibility. This represented the largest shift at BuzzFeed from a Python/Javascript mix to a full JavaScript stack, defying the stigma of server-side JavaScript in production and serving up 25M+ page views per day.
